Error initializing asio driver


















 · The closest thing to that I think would ASIO4All, which is a hack intended for devices that don't actually support ASIO, and also won't show up in device manager. Usually the problem you describe is hardware related. It could mean your cable is bad or the port it's plugged into, or even the audio device itself.  · This error is reported from the ASIO device itself, and can mean one of the following: 1. The device is malfunctioning Try a different USB port or see if there are updates available via the manufacturer's 2. The device is in use in another application. ASIO drivers can only be used in one.  · It literally means your audio device crashed. No big deal, really. Just reboot your PC, ensure you are using the right driver and ASIO settings, and it should work.


Hello, i'm having issues getting SAR to run with my Steinberg UR12 Interface (Using the Steinberg/Yamaha ASIO driver). In Reaper it works fine to use the ASIO driver directly, but as soon as i select SAR and then within SAR the ASIO driv. ASIO drivers can only be used in one. Ok, I've been using Reaper (slowly) for the last year or two. I'm somewhat familiar with it. Prior to the last couple weeks, Reaper required me to unplug/replug in my interface (UMCHD) in order for it to recognize the interface when launched.


Everything had been working fine, but now all of a sudden Reaper hangs apparently while it is trying to initialize or set-up the ASIO driver. In each of my vMix Preset Projects the audio input is listed as Offline and any attempt I make to reconnect is met with the following error. 23 de mar. de Trying to use the M-Audio included ASIO driver and it gives me this error.
